CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY
For 90 years since its founding, TOKUSEN KOGYO has carried out its business with its enduring corporate philosophy close to mind.
In Japanese, when one places “ga” and “koso” upon oneself, the subject becomes the self — “I,” “I am,” or “TOKUSEN KOGYO above all.” When “ga” and “koso” are placed upon others, the subject becomes the other person — “you,” or “our customers above all.”
This reflects a philosophy of working for others, grounded in the spirit of altruism.
The most important of all in this corporate philosophy is the concept of “complete harmony.” " Working for others does not mean self-sacrifice, nor is it an act of volunteerism.
The phrase does not mean about only our company making a profit, nor about only our customers gaining benefits and feeling satisfied. The phrase is a state which "Everybody feel happy" is " complete harmony"
The "complete harmony" state in which both the company and stakeholders are satisfied is a lasting relationship.
The most important purpose of a company is sustainability.
This corporate philosophy enables us to look beyond our own interests, deliver value to our customers, and, as a result, sustain our business to this day.
We will continue our business going forward, always cherishing this corporate philosopy.

What is a company?
Companies are often said to be their people.
Having been established 90 years ago, the employees of that time are no longer with us.
Does a company refer to its company name, like "TOKUSEN KOGYO"?
Company names can be changed. Actually, our company has been renamed before.
Does a company refer to its building or location?
We have relocated our base from Amagasaki city to Ono city,
and our ties to the local community may likewise be temporary.
According to this line of thinking,
the term “sustainability” may not be absolute, it may simply describe what has continued as a result.
What companies can do is not to promise the future in pursuit of a sustainable society, but to sincerely build upon what they do today.
Through these sincere efforts, we believe the day will come when we can proudly say that our actions have been sustainable.

The answers may change with the times.
That is why we will sincerely face the definition demanded by each era, carefully building upon each moment of the present, believing that this very journey will lead to a sustainable future.
